Joshua Kane is a licensed psychiatrist specializing in individual therapy for adults. He earned his undergraduate degree at Yale University, and his MD at the State University of New York. He trained in psychiatry at the Brown University residency program. Dr. Kane has practiced in diverse settings, including community mental health centers, University teaching hospitals, and VA hospitals. He currently maintains a private practice in Providence, RI and works at the Butler Partial Hospital Program. Dr. Kane is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a candidate at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
